Well, I know this may or may not belong in here, but it has absolutely nothing to do with WoW. I just remembered I put this into one of my essays previously, and thought it turned out REALLY good. ^.^
It's short.
Tell me what you think
==========
Walking back home from a trip to the grocery store, Dave puts his arm around Sam, his ever-loving partner for life. As they stop, waiting for the light at the cross-walk to change, Dave turns and caresses Sam’s cheek, and kisses him sweetly, yet suggestively. Upon hearing the continuous chirping of the cross-walk sign, they pull apart, eyes shining brightly, both now eagerly awaiting their return home. As they start across the street, Dave notices a group of people that had passed them as they were kissing, looking back at him and Sam with startled and disapproving looks on their faces. Disgusted by their expressions, Dave squeezes Sam’s hand. Sam squeezes Dave’s hand tenderly and brings their joined hands to his lips, kissing Dave’s wedding ring sweetly, whispering softly “Don’t worry, Dave. I don’t. I love you.” Dave glances at his lover and their matching rings and smiles back reassuringly, both their minds preoccupied with their return home.
==========
What'd you think?
This was the opening to an essay on homosexuality. I rather like it
(the wedding ring thing was added because I'm putting it into my next essay, this time about why same sex couples should be given the legal right to marry. It was just originally "brings his hand up to his lips in a sweet kiss")
